The College of Healthcare Information Management Executives (CHIME) is the professional organization for Chief Information Officers and other senior healthcare IT leaders. The CHIME Opioid Task Force Coordinator will be responsible for coordinating all administrative and back-end operations efforts in supporting of the Opioid Task Force.  To be successful in this role, you will need to be a self-sufficient, motivated person, with a desire to serve a group of executive volunteers that are passionate about their cause.  You will need to be able to work with a diverse pool of people and be well organized.  Excellent communication and written skills are needed.


Job Duties

  • Administrative duties to include scheduling and supporting calendar and meeting invites, preparing and sharing agendas
  • Provide Administrative support to all subcommittees and members
  • Scheduling and management of podcast recordings (to include speaker preparation, coordination of internal and external stakeholders)
  • Promotion of podcasts and other events (working with internal and external marketing groups)
  • Managing and assisting in social media posting to promote the work of the task force
  • Conduct industry research to support education committees and website content
  • Categorize materials and support website (Opioid Action Center) working with web development team



  • Bachelor’s Degree in Communications or Business Preferred
  • Ability to manage multiple projects
  • Experience with professional writing (preferred)
  • Experience with conducting research
  • Must be able to work independently
  • Strong social media skills
  • Excellent to strong editing skills
  • Strong Communicator, both written and verbal
  • Project management skills
  • Technical experience; familiar with multiple platforms
  • Experience with Word Press preferred

This is a remote based position
