The College of Healthcare Information Management Executives (CHIME) is the professional organization for Chief Information Officers and other senior healthcare IT leaders. We are currently seeking a Sr. Director of Content and Experience. This position reports directly to the Vice President, Education (VP/E). The Sr. Director of Content and Experience will participate in the development and management of in-person conferences, facilitator-led courses, regional workshops, and e-learning initiatives. The successful candidate will use his or her extensive knowledge of the healthcare IT industry and adult educational delivery methods to assist in the design and execution of innovative programs and services, developing and adapting written and published content for supported delivery methods, as needed.
The Sr. Director of Content and Experience will engage and collaborate with organization staff, members, volunteers, allied organizations, and key industry stakeholders to develop high-quality education programs and expand the reach of the organization’s education and professional development platforms through individual, team-based, and committee efforts.
The successful candidate must demonstrate proven effectiveness leading group and team efforts, solid project management competencies, and the ability to manage effectively within available budget and resource allocations.
He/she will help provide a well-rounded portfolio of education programs consisting of quality conferences, seminars, workshops, webinars, and special events in support of the professional development needs of healthcare CIOs and digital health leaders and allied professionals.
The Sr. Director of Content and Experience is responsible for helping the organization meet budget projections by controlling expenses, meeting revenue targets and preparing comparative statistical reports related to registrations and financial data to determine profitability and/or value to the organization and its members, as needed.
The ideal candidate will be a very-well organized individual with in-depth knowledge of the professional education landscape and proven planning, marketing, writing, administrative and supervisory skills for this high-level, executive position.
